As the chemical new materials industry transitions from rapid growth to high-quality development, our objective is to set a new benchmark for excellence. In 2023, Feiyang has initiated several major projects to solidify and enhance our advantages in the polyaspartic polyurea supply chain and to establish a secondary engine for high-quality corporate growth. This includes the design and construction of a polyurea material production line with an annual capacity of 26,000 tons, a Diethyl Maleate production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons, and the expansion and renovation of our R&D Center. We are committed to deeply exploring the cutting-edge applications of new materials and technologies in polyaspartic polyurea across various sectors, driving technological progress throughout the industry and injecting new vitality into the future development of chemical new materials.
26,000-Ton Polyurea Materials Project
In July 2023, Feiyang commenced the design and construction of a new 26,000-ton polyurea material project. Once operational, this will increase Feiyang's total resin-related capacity to 46,000 tons. The new project has significantly enhanced the original polyaspartic resin production process, achieving a fully automated production line from raw material storage to manufacturing and packaging. This has led to a 50% reduction in staff required and doubled the economic output per employee. Moreover, the production line has been upgraded to directly produce high-purity bio-based polyaspartic polyurea resin.
20,000-Ton Diethyl Maleate Project
To further strengthen and expand our lead in the polyaspartic polyurea supply chain, Feiyang launched the construction of a 20,000-ton Diethyl Maleate project in June 2023. The project was expedited, completing foundational construction, equipment installation, instrument calibration, and pipeline cleaning and testing within six months, with all trial production exceeding expectations by early 2024. This new Diethyl Maleate production unit stands out with several innovations, utilizing Feiyang’s proprietary continuous production technology. Compared to traditional batch processing, our method offers higher efficiency, superior and consistent quality, and is more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, setting a global precedent for large-scale continuous production units and achieving the highest standards in the industry.
Feiyang R&D Center
Feiyang is committed to leading industry technological innovation and development through exploring advanced applications of new materials and technologies in polyaspartic polyurea. In November 2023, we launched an expansion project for our R&D Center. Now operational, the new three-story Feiyang R&D Center spans over 3,600 square meters. It features a scientifically arranged space integrating a smart showroom, R&D labs, pilot scale-up areas, process research rooms, and a precision testing center.
