In December 2011, the Jinping hydropower station dam waterproofing was finished. It is a high-quality project constructed with polyaspartic polyurea waterproof material PS8500/PS9500 by Chengdu Yikeda Technology Co., Ltd. Throughout inspect test; it was awarded as comprehensive performance No.1.
Another project is the water cushion pool of the xiluodu power station. After one year, there is no fall-off or bubble.
There are two benefits of applying polyaspartic polyurea waterproof coating to hydropower
dams. One is high elastic mechanical strength to endure high-velocity flow and sandblast. The other is easy construction, like rolling, to adjust to complex natural environments.
