^{1. Application}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 (1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate based polyisocyanate) is a low viscosity solvent-free aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), colorless to a slightly yellowish transparent liquid.}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 can be used as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings with high chemical and weather resistance, good gloss retention, and outstanding mechanical properties. Preferred co-reactants are polyacrylates or polyester polyols.}

^{The main applications for coatings based on WANNATE® HT-600 are automotive refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing, and plastics.}

^{4. Storage / Solubility}

^{Storage in original container. Protect from moisture, heat, and foreign material.}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 is sensitive to moisture. Storage at higher temperatures may result in increasing in color and viscosity.}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 can be thinned with esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, PMA, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100 and mixtures thereof. Generally speaking, it has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However, the solutions formed must be tested for their storage stability. Only PU-grade solvents should be used (max.0.05% water, absence of reactive hydroxyl or amino groups). Aliphatic hydrocarbons are unsuitable as solvents.}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 is not recommended to be thinned to lower solid content. Prolonged solution storage with a lower range may result in turbidity, sedimentation, and even gelation.}

^{5. Compatibility}

WANNATE® HT-600 can be mixed with the following products: aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates, and polyacrylates.

^{6. Shelf Life}

^{WANNATE® HT-600 is sensitive to moisture and must be stored in a tightly sealed container. It can be stored for at least 15 months at temperatures between 0 and 30 °C.}
